Founder & Creator

Welcome! Before I ever became a nurse, I spent years working closely with children who had different needs, especially within neurodiversity. That experience changed how I see care completely. It wasn’t just about diagnoses or checklists—it was about understanding people, learning their rhythms, and supporting them in ways that actually made sense for their lives.

Now as a registered nurse in Neurology, I’ve been able to build on that foundation with clinical knowledge, but I’ve always carried that same perspective with me. The human side of it has always mattered just as much.

Our Mission

The goal of Nurtured in Neuro is to create a space that supports, educates, and empowers.

A space where:
-learning feels accessible
-questions feel welcome
-and people feel more confident navigating what they’re facing

Because support shouldn’t stop at information—it should extend into understanding, clarity, and guidance that you can actually use.

Why This Space Exists

Nurtured in Neuro was created because there’s a gap between information and understanding. There’s a lot of medical language out there. A lot of explanations. A lot of instructions.

-But that doesn’t always translate into something that feels clear, practical, or even supportive when you’re the one navigating it.

-This space is here to bridge that.

-It’s for parents, caregivers, and anyone trying to make sense of neurological conditions in a way that actually connects. Not just learning what something is, but understanding what it looks like, what to expect, and how to move through it with more confidence.

My Approach

I don’t believe in overwhelming people with information just for the sake of it.

I believe in:

– making things make sense

– explaining without overcomplicating

– meeting people where they are

You don’t need a medical background to understand what’s shared here. And you shouldn’t feel like you have to figure everything out alone.
